Message for Brookwood Area Students, Families, Faculty, Staff

Brookwood Attendance Zone Students, Families, Faculty, and Staff, 

We are extremely saddened to let you know that we lost a dear member of our school community this afternoon, Deputy Tim Johns. Deputy Johns served our Brookwood area schools as our School Resource Officer. Our thoughts and prayers are very much with Deputy Johns' family, loved ones, and all members of our school community who knew him. 

Tomorrow and beyond, our district support team of counselors and social workers will be available to our students, faculty, and staff. Families, please encourage your students to reach out for support. We are here for them. This will be a difficult time for our faculty and staff members, as well, and we will have support in place for them. 

We love our students, faculty, and staff dearly. We want to make sure you are all cared for and that we support each other, as we grieve someone who meant so much to our schools.
